Easy Living is a great place for a quick sandwich, soup, or Buckeye fix. Easy Living is run by Vlade Janakievski, one of Ohio State's all-time leading kickers. and his family. It's not fancy, but friendly and interesting if you're a Buckeye fan.

In addition to the deli, there is a grocery section that features Middle Eastern and Eastern European specialties like feta and olives, chocolate candies, and a large assortment of spices. they also serve beer and wine to go.

Sandwiches are the mainstay of the operation, and they offer most of your favorites, custom made on the spot. A favorite is the reuben, which, while not grilled, is very tasty because of the sauce they add. Tuna fish is good, ham & swiss - any of the basics are available as you like it. they serve a different soup or two every day in the season and the gumbo is especially good.

Catering is another big business for Easy Living, especially in the fall around football time.

Walking into Easy Street is like a visit to the Buckeye Hall of Fame, if there was only one Buckeye - Janakievski. There is memorabilia everywhere from his storied career under Woody. It is the default place to go for out of town news media covering an OSU football game - in the old days, Keith Jackson, Brent Musburger, etc. all visited Vlade's shrine to OSU football greatness on the Thrusday or Friday leading up to gameday. You can still see a number of athletes who patronize the place. They all seem to know Vlade, and vice versa.
